Off to Norway: Discussing eHealth Challenges with Nasjonal IKT
Looking forward to getting started after the Christmas break: On Tuesday, January 10, the HiGHmed consortium will visit Nasjonal IKT in Norway, a governmental organisation responsible for the national eHealth standardisation programme in Norway. Founded in 2014, Nasjonal IKT works to establish semantic interoperability between 24 hospital trusts in Norway.
We are excited to visit one of the most advanced countries in terms of eHealth technologies to discuss methods and challenges of creating and maintaining clinical information models on a national level. Another issue to be addressed in the course of the meeting is the use of terminologies as SNOMED CT (clinical health terminology product owned and distributed by SNOMED International).
