HiGHmed technical workshop in Hanover
At the beginning of November 2016 the HiGHmed consortium coordinated by Professor Roland Eils assembled for a three day workshop in Hanover. The meeting taking place at the Hannover Medical School aimed to elaborate on a detailed technical concept to define deliverables necessary for the completion of the first work package. In a collaborate effort with academic and industrial partners key discussion of the workshop was the technical realization of the currently four intended data integration centers at each partner site. Multiple teams compiled ideas and decisions were made about the potential architecture and data integration of the local data integration centers, data modelling and a federated approach to aggregate and deliver data.
